A salary review is carried out annually in March. Any salary increases are entirely at the discretion of the Board of Trustees. In setting the remuneration for staff, the Board will consider: (a) Any change or additional scope to the role requiring a re-evaluation. (b) Benchmarking against roles in charities of a similar size within the domestic abuse sector. (c) Recruitment and retention issues or difficulties. (d) Increases in inflation and the cost of living. (e) What is affordable, whilst taking into account the charity’s current financial position.
